Determine the magnitude and direction of the electric field at apoint midway between a -8.0 µC and a +5.0 µC charge 5.0 cm apart?Assume no other charges are nearby.
Magnitude:_______ N/C
Direction: I know the direction is towards the negative charge butI'm not so sure why.
I used the equation E=k Q1/(r/2)^2 - k Q2/(r/2)^2 I didn't get theright answer so I assume this is wrong but I don't know what otherequation to use. Please help! Thanks!
