I was trying to solve it using vector qualities rather thanbreaking the vectors into components. I figured I would need to useonly one of the charges to find the electric field. According tothe diagram of my work, since the charge is in equilibrium; thetotal net electric charge plus gravity plus tension must equal 0.However, when I am solving for the answer I still get 173 kN/C.(There is a different number in the box because I kept on tryingdifferent numbers until I finally gave up.
