I thought the convention would be vector A- vector B= vector A + (-vector B), or 3.00units + (-4.0)units = -1.0 units.

but this isn't the same as the answer provided in thesolutions manual. I also don't understand how the graph got flippedif vector A is along the positive x-axis and vector B is along thenegative Y axis.

I also don't understand how to know which angle I am measuringin order to find the direction of vectoraddition/subtraction.
