Hello,
I have a question regarding how to covert from powerpermicrometer squared to power per centimeter squared.Specifically, Ihave a power of 0.3 Watts in an area of 50micrometers squared. This calculates as 0.006 Watts per micrometersquared. Any help onconverting this value to watts per centimetersquared would begreat! The question comes from Understanding FiberOptics by JeffHecht, Chapter 5, problem 7.
Thanks Nothingman
