A parallel plate without a dielectric is connected to a battery and has capacitance of 3.2 x 10-10 Farads and a charge of 8.8 micro-Coulombs on its plates. The distance between the plates of the capacitor is 2.6 cm. A dielectric with a dielectric constant of 1.7 is then slide between the plates while the capacitor is still connected to the same battery and the distance between the plates is unchanged. What is the energy density for this capacitor with the dielectric inserted in J/m3?
