An ammeter measures current in amperes when connected in a series connection to a battery of voltage Vb and an unknown resistor of resistance Ru(Figure 1). The current read by ammeter is I0. In the next figure given below, an unknown resistor of resistance Rr is connected in a series connection to the ammeter, and the reading of ammeter is now dropped to I1. Finally, one more resistor, having resistance Rr, is again connected in series with the given circuit and ammeter reading is current I2.
If the ratio of i1/i0=4/5, find the ratio of i2/i0.
