The more insecure someones attachment the more externalizing they do. Focused on people who are insecurely attached in that they have a different appraisal of threat in ai kids. People with insecure attachment don"t have the ability to self sooth; the more scared we are the more likely we are to act out which may contribute to the externalizing of ai children. Belongingness in adulthood has links to ai in children. Internalizing behaviours: opposite to externalizing; becoming so withdrawn that they cannot be reached; this can lead to many psychological issues. People ruminate as a reaction to stress in result of their attachment. Adolescents are very caught up with relationships romantic and social these relationships will be most related to their attachment in childhood. They would video tape mother child interactions in order to get a good idea as to what is going on.
