Both the prosecution and the defense hired trial consultants to help with jury selection: potential jurors had to fill out a pre-trial questionnaires asking personal questions. Most of them at most had high school degrees, some community college degrees. At least 3 of the jurors said that they had run-ins with the police. The prosecution dismissed their trial consultant after the second day. Surveys: have a mock courtroom hiring actors to play lawyers, or jurors; what witnesses should say.
