A ph. d. is not required and less training can be qualified (a regular m. d. works fine) Psychiatry involves getting a medical degree, followed by a specialization in psychiatry. (m. d. Solve practical problems in the real world, on a broader scale. Human factor: it involves the design of objects and equipment for optimal usage or make them as user friendly as possible. Industrial/organizational (i/o): it involves working in stuff like business or office settings. It involves practices looking at hiring the best candidates, finding the most effective way of training the employees and retaining them. They work in the school itself, with students.
