In muslim tradition, the kabah was built by abraham (been destroyed and rebuilt many times) Arab social values: family and male honour, hospitality, defense of the downtrodden. Groups way of saying that they are more enlightened than they were before. Muslim sources frequently mock the way pre-muslims thought.
