Throughout the history of our world, many countries have attempted to establish colonies in other in the pursuit of economic or political dominance over other nations. One such country that had many colonies is england. They had colonies stretching from north america all the way to india, places very different from england. As such, the people of the countries england colonized underwent changes in their daily life styles, political and educational institutions, and even their personal identities. The changes societies underwent are often times illustrated in works of literature known as post-colonial texts. Time can be considered a post-colonial text because it illustrates the significant effect post colonialism has had on her life.
