Autosomes: chromosomes that have genes for everything but the determination of the sex. Sex chromosomes: determine whether you are male or female. Not numbered but are given letters x and y. If you are a girl, you"ll have 2 x chromosomes, and if you are a boy, you"ll have a x and a y chromosome. Cellular organelles and cytoplasmic contents are divided more or less equally between daughter cells.
