Plant cells form tissues, which form organ systems (roots, stem, leaves etc. ) The very first plants were underwater, during evolution they became land plants. When they moved to the land, they became big and developed water conducting. One tissue is to conduct water, the other is to conduct food. Leaves look shiny to prevent water consumption. Roots tissue (chlorophyll in the leaves produces sugars through photosynthesis) Nutrients are transported from roots to leaves through stems. Thick cell walls, added to the rigidity (wood) in the middle of the stem. Phloem (make the sugars (food) that are sent downwards) Co2 and h2o and sunlight to make sugar. Male and female flowers, when fertilized through pollination (bees, wind), produce fruit. Make the pollen in 4 compartments called pollen chambers. Pedals often pretty colours to attract insects. Pedals that are white (usually have nice smells) are usually pollinated definitely. Don"t have seeds, they have spores, which spread.
