Nancy Gervasi -0830777 Natasha Botelho PHIL1010 February 7 2014 Marxism – Tutorial Paper #4 In the following I will argue that it is not possible to bracket income when it comes to accessing political power. Michael Walzer is attempting to create a sense of equality in a Marxist way. Though, this way would never be able to work in a Marxist, or in fact any, society. Think about it this way: if you are a wealthy, powerful person living in a community, you will most likely vote for someone else who has a high income like yourself because they will help benefit you in the long run.
