Regulatory and stability; imposiion of accepted and enforced rules, structure and pracices. Structures relaions in a poliical community that distribute responsibility and privileges. Successful poliical and economic development depends on the construcion and maintenance of strong insituions: key terms and vocabulary of poliical science. Members consent to being governed and choose their rulers. Most are limited by another insituion: consituion, parliament. Voing taxes central government in charge of administraion. People who share idenity based on: ethnicity, religion, culture and language. Share predominate common ethnicity, culture, language or history. Eg of pure naion states: japan and egypt: globalizaion and states. The idea of the state has become increasingly hallow because with globalizaion the borders of state no longer apply and allow people to have muliple ideniies. Fixed poliical boundaries do not always correspond with cultural and economic boundaries.
