The more satisfied a person is the more they become physically and mentally healthy to the point of self actualization. Individualism: the individual is viewed as an agent who is personally responsible for their own health. Obesogenic environment: contains affordable but nasty, fatty, salty and sugary foods that readily cause weight gain and obesity on an industrial scale. Social toxic environment: children"s social world has become increasingly poisonous due to escalating violence, potentially lethal consequences of sex, diminishing adult supervision and growing child poverty. Working towards social justice and reducing inequalities. Responsibility of all planners, policy makers and leaders of people to fight for a fairer more equitable system of health care. Ancient greece: health and illness viewed in terms of bodily functioning.
