A woman helped the author out and told him to speak to steve when he got there, and he will sort out the changing situation. Steve asked him to go into the woman"s bathroom, there were ladies in there that looked at the author weirdly. The author wanted to wear a cotton t-shirt into the hot springs but was only permitted swimwear, although the author said "steve said it would be okay", it was not allowed. He didn"t want to wear swimwear as there are scars on his chest. The author was feeling discomfort, which turned into humiliation. However, he found solstice in going into the water --> being in the cave, it made the author feel alone and anonymous.
