Diagnosis: determination of nature and cause of illness; use clinical history, physical examination, differential diagnosis. Prognosis: opinion about the eventual outcome of disease and the outlook for recovery. Screening test for disease evidence-based and patient-centered medicine. If the vessel is narrowed by disease, the film will show areas in which the column of opaque material is narrowed. A complete obstruction of the vessel appears as an interruption of the column.
