Document Summary

Based o(cid:374) hypothesis that segregatio(cid:374) at o(cid:374)e locus does(cid:374)"t affect the segregatio(cid:374) of a(cid:374)other locus. Doing a test cross will allow us to see results. The recessive alleles are in the background. Supports (cid:373)odel that segregatio(cid:374) of o(cid:374)e allele does(cid:374)"t affect segregatio(cid:374) of a(cid:374)other. Full cell cycle is dna replication and division. M phase: cytoplasm is splitting in 2. G1 phase: transcription is happening, proteins are interacting, life of cell is happening. S phase: decides to replicate, all details learned about dna replication happens here, cell can still continue it"s function while these processes are occurring (happens at a slower pace) G2 phase: each chromosome becomes 2 sister chromatids, certain proteins have different functions. G0 phase: cell is not going to divide if it goes through this phase, only a small amount go through this phase. Some cells go straight to g0: they do not go through s phase, examples: bone and eye cells.
