Document Summary
Common property resources; owned by all of us (i. e: parks in mississauga are owned by everyone, as we all pay taxes and even antarctica is considered as a world common property resource) We can also look at other resources, such as human, university, traditional knowledge, law, etc. Earth = minerals, fossil fuels, soils (also a living resource), oil, etc. As we use these resources, we"re using them up and that"s why they"re also known as wasting resources. Living resources are managed differently (i. e: trees, fish, crops, soils, etc) It"s possible to mismanage the stock of living resources though. Living resources are delicately balanced and if it"s used up to the point where the population declines, then the stock can suffer permanent damage and never rebound. A rock is an aggravate of minerals (thus it"s a bunch of minerals stuck together) and it consists of several minerals.
