Please read the following instructions for the midterm: do not turn the page until an invigilator tells you to do so, all notes, papers, and electronic devices other than non-programmable calculators must be put away out of view. Please turn off any device that could make noise: this exam contains 10 pages (including the cover sheet) numbered 1-10. The 10th page is blank (for scratch work).
