He then gets worried and builds fort necessity and then gets captured by the french, and is forced to surrender and sent back to the coast. French keep winning most important battles- canadians are good at guerilla warfare. Ohio valley is where 7 year war starts. 7 years war - fall of new france, beginning of the end. Conflict between great britain and france broke out in 1754 1756 when the british attacked disputed french positions in north america.
