Problems: industrial growth, silver age/ russian culture, parliament, peasants didn"t have enough land, factories were bad and liberals had no influence on the government. Jan- feb 1917 the capital, petrograd, was smitten with strife. It was complete chaos: censorship & police grew, duma dismissed, corruption. xi.
