o Why? Reading before class gives you a scaffold for what we will be learning
o When is it due? At the beginning of each unit (you will do the readings for ALL
the chapters in the unit)
o Where do I find info? Worksheet for the notes are posted on Canvas
o What do I do? Fill out the worksheet, bring it to class
o What’s in it for me? Can be used on the test at the end of each unit
- Lab worksheets = 230 points
o All of these will be handed out in class, done in class, and turned in on the same
day we do them
- Quizzes = 120 points
o Why? Quizzes allow me to test whether you understand class material
o When is it due? In class, the day of the quiz
o Where do I find info? You will be well prepared for every quiz
o What do I do? Take the quiz, don’t cheat
o What’s in it for me? Open book, open noes, open canvas, can leave when done
- Total = 400 points
