Document Summary

Hey guys if you have any notes please add them. The exam will have two parts. (1) identifications; essentially, short essays. You will be asked to identify and discuss the international significance of topics we have studied in the first half of the course. Identification topics could be important concepts, theories, historical events, international issues, or policy problems. You will be asked to write on 3 of 5 possible topics. (2) an analytic essay that will focus on the bigger issues and broader themes we have examined. You will write on 1 of 3 possible topics. For both parts of the exam, we will be looking for you to demonstrate your comprehension of the relevant issues, readings, and lectures. We are looking for a clear argument, plus key points and evidence in support of the argument. We are not looking for tons of historical details, incidental facts, or trivia. Show that you understand and can analyze important international issues.
