Many fungi: some fungi have specialized hyphae that trap prey. Sexual reproduction in fungi: begins when a filament of one mycelium comes into contact with a filament from a 2nd mycelium from a different, compatible mating type. If all goes correctly the two hyphae may fuse, so that the nuclei from the fuse create a common cell.
