Most beautiful god is married to the ugliest. When hephaestus would leave, ares would come into hephaestus and aphrodite"s house and make love to aphrodite in hephaestus" bed. Eventually the sun in the sky (who sees everything) told hephaestus about aphrodite"s infidelity. Hephaestus used all his skill as a craftsman to make a net, and set it above his bed. He left like usual, and no sooner than they began to "engage gears" the net dropped. Hephaestus invited all the gods and goddesses to come and see. The goddesses were too modest to come and see, but the gods sat around the bed and laughed and told stories. Hephaestus let them go after those gods left and ares and aphrodite never "engaged" again. So sexuality was beyond the greeks control, that"s why they had to have a god for it.
