Dadelus decided to escape to crete and the only way he could get out was by air. Dadelus had a son named icarus, dadelus built a couple of golden wings to fly out for him and his son. He told icarus to fly a level course and to not get to high because the sun will melt the wings and the sea will bog down the wings. Icarus flew too close to the sun which felt the wax on the wings and he crashed into the sea and died. The ship with the black sails was filled with children to sacrifice to the minotaur. Theseus heard this and decided to go in with the kids to kill the minotaur. Father said if you succeed in killing the minotaur then change the sails back to white. When they get to crete ariadne gave him a wreath to find his way in the labyrinth.
