Document Summary

Ee 2231 electronics lab i experiment #1. Objective: the main goal of this lab was to familiarize myself with the breadboard, multimeter and other equipment, and to demonstrate the usefulness of thevenin"s theorem. Procedure: the first step was to set up a circuit like figure 2a and then measure the resistance to ground. This step was repeated for figures 2b 3b with resistances measured to the ground from the indicated positions. The next step was to set up a circuit like figure 4a and then measure the voltage to ground from the indicated positions. This step was repeated for figures 4b and 4c. The final step was to calculate the percentage error. 3b (1) 0k (2) (3) 1k (4) (5) 0k. 4b (1) 12v (2) 9v (3) 6v (4) 3v (5) 0v. Analysis: nearly all of my theoretical impedances and voltages were within a 1% error of their actual results.
