Many argue that social media is bringing people together in ways that have never been possible before now. Others counter that argument by saying that social media is becoming too powerful and is even getting to the point of controlling the way we live our lives. The transformation of our world has changed drastically over the past 5 years alone. With myspace really opening up a whole new window for social media, other people started buying. Then facebook came along, originally only going to be used for harvard university. This site got leaked and spread like wild fire.
