Moral realism- the view that there are some mind-independent or objective moral truths. Ex: divine command theory, ethical naturalism, ethical non-naturalism. Meta-ethics- the subfield of moral philosophy that focuses on the fundamental status and nature of morality. Self-defeating claim- claims that prove themselves to be false because they require the truth of a contradiction.
