Who Uses Sports Psych?
● Anyone involved in athletics
● Even recreational sports
● Coaches
● Anyone who needs to perform
What do Sports Psychologists do?
● Consultant
● Teacher
● Research
● Most do a combo of teaching and consulting but depends on type of sports psychologist
● Psychologist → legally protected, if clinically licensed can be called psychologist
● “Clinical sports psychologist”

○ Trained to work with people who have clinical issues
● “Mental conditioning coach” “sports psychology consultant”
