Qualitative research - involves detailed verbal or written descriptions of characteristics under investigation. Variable- a characteristic that is measured in a study. Research hypothesis-may involve unknowns so researches usually need to refine investigation by doing an exhaustive search of the existing research studies related to the point of interest ( literature review)
