Exploratory techniques: techniques concerned with analysis of historical data to find patterns. Normative technique: start by proposing desired/ possible state such as a satisfaction of a market need, and work backwards from this to determine necessary steps required. Ethics: set of beliefs about right and wrong; socially, as a group. Moral code: statement about people should behave; one"s one set of values and behavior system.
