(z) Labiodental- place top teeth close to bottom lip- f and v. Alveolar- place tongue just behind your upper teeth- t and d. Coarticulation- when we are already producing other words and sounds when still going to make the first one. We never utter just one phoneme at a time, they overlap. Speech segmentation- a first step that is prior to phoneme identification, you need to slice this stream into the appropriate segments.
