Hi i am writing about your news article the case for reparations. first off i would like to introduce myself, my name is ricky tran and i am a resident of southwest philadelphia. I fortunately was able to experience throughout my life a lot of diversity but have witnessed areas of philadelphia that looks very segregated. But that"s the thing when i first began reading this news piece i thought it would be mainly about segregation and how to solve it instead it went to so much more that opened up my mind. In my honesty it made me believe that the people who were once oppressed will always be oppressed unless something is done. I really enjoyed how you began the news piece with a strong headlining two hundred fifty years of slavery. Until we reckon with our compounding moral debts, america will never be whole.
