You willingly give up role to choose to comply with standards. Subordinate groups accept their societal position as well as demonstrate support for societal structures. What you are supposed to do: pledge of alligence or standing for national anthem- would be trying not to give up own power. Internal: you are conditioned to act in a certain way and it comes from within you, disciplinary.
