2. In questions (1) describe how these age related changes make a person
vulnerability to possible acute dementia ( the

behavior changes, withdrawn, hallucinations)
reduced taste and smell causes food to taste bland making it so they eat less, this
leads to poor nutrition, They have a harder time seeing things at distances or off to
the side of them and they need more light to see things clearly. In order to hear
things clearly things need to be at lower tones and if people are talking to them
sentences need to be slowed down in order to make sure the person doesn’t miss
things. Poor nutrition can lead to confusion and disorientation as well as memory
loss, poor ability to hear can cause people to get annoyed and change their behavior,
where the buzzing may make them annoyed and irritable. An innability to see things

4. Explain how some of the age related changes in the brain can lead
to the decline in fluid IQ
The decrease in fluid you genetically inherit in the brain can cause changes in
fluid IQ which causes a decline in neurons and synaptic connections, decreasing
vitality. This fluid always declines, but there is a way to balance and slow the
decrease of these fluids. This is done by increasing the chyrstalline changes, which is
when there is a steady amount of environmental input coming in. This makes for
there to be a much lower net loss in vitality of the nervous system. Older individuals
