Required for our definition of probability to be accurate. Each individual in the population has an equal chance of being selected. Probability of being selected stays constant from one selection to the next when more than one individual is selected. Probability usually involves population of scores that can be displayed in a frequency distribution graph. A particular portion of the graph corresponds to a particular probability of the graph represent portions of the population.
