There are 3 exams total throughout the semester, one of which is the final exam. The scientific study of the behavior of organisms, including the biological and mental processes that affect behavior. Philosophy: ideas about knowledge can be acquired through a systematic understanding. Natural science: progress in understanding the nervous system, senses, etc. Together, these two ideas apply the methods of science to the study of human behavior, which is what is known as modern psychology.
