Reproduction due to the increased amounts of traits that have survived (blending into the water) 2015: 23,000 americans died due to superbug infections. S-allele is common in equatorial africa, india, middle east. A/s = resistant to malaria but do not have sickle-cell disease: balanced. What darwin didn"t know: where does new variation come from, how are traits inherited, other forms of evolution. In humans, babies that are born too small often lack the sources to thrive, and babies that are too large are prone to difficult births.
