Institutional/structural discrimination: occurs when the actions/policies of organizations/social institutaons exclude, disadvantage, or harm members of particular groups. Some of the earliest research on prej & discrim was conducted by psychologists, who saw racism as an expression of particular personality disorders: criticism, they overlooked the context that gives shape to the beliefs.
