Frauds and fantastic claims in archaeology (anthrarc 285) You should also know why people believed the various frauds we have covered in class (e. g. bigfoot footprints, cardiff giant, piltdown man, Fujimura"s claims about japanese paleolithic, and the michigan relics) and what evidence was used to show they were frauds. Terms and sites: if a term or an archaeological site was on the lecture slides and in your readings, there is a good chance it will be on the exam.
