Most of the proof type questions will be chosen from sections of 4. 4, 5. 1, 5. 2, 5. 3, 6. 1, 6. 2 and lecture notes on compactness. Some (parts of) questions may involve methods, proofs and topics from the earlier parts of the course. True/false questions will have statements from all parts of the material, including the earlier parts of the course as well as chapter 7. Of course, the questions about applications, examples, hw can be from all chapters 4-7. You may need to reproduce some of the proofs. Make sure to learn all the proofs specified with stars (*)-(*****) in the class notes: learn all definitions, since you need to know them to do problems in the test, learn the statements of the theorems precisely.
