Many jobs have been replaced by technology: no one is irreplaceable, marketable skills. Backpack journalism: being able to work a camera, write, edit, and produce your own stories. Facebook, tank you notes, no texting: professionalism, research learn the company before you go to an interview, internships making a good impression, networking getting to know people, volunteering, trade magazines, organizations, resumes & resume tapes. Job possibilities: production, promotions trying to get the name out there, programming, sale, management, the interview, positions. Current events & writing tests: graphics, promotions, director, promos and teases, meet immediately after morning and afternoon meetings; most of the time a rep. from this dept. is present @ meetings, review shots, etc.
