Note: the exam will be held in education 147 on thursday, march 13, from 11:00 to 11:50 am. It will consist of multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and two short essay questions. Three essay questions will appear on the exam, but you will need only answer two. Those responses should be concise and well organized in tightly constructed paragraphs. Below you will find key concepts from lecture, discussion, and the readings. In addition to these topics you are also responsible for viewing and understanding the screenings and in-class clips. You"ll also be expected to know the major historical shifts and economic changes that we"ve been outlining. We don"t expect you to memorize every date, but you will need to have a more or less clear idea of when key events happened, especially in relation to one another, to do well on the exam.
