Western educated industrialized rich democratic cultures are used to define men"s health, which isn"t an inclusive and all-encompassing view for the general population. Differences in how we explain racial and gender differences in health. Human males are more fragile than females from conception. Excess of accidents in boys because of worse motor functions. Girls tend to be better at school and have better literary skills and are more aware and explicit about their feelings. Boys mature slower but have better spatial and navigational skills. Alexithymia- lack of emotional vocabulary; inability to identify and describe emotions: more common in boys.
