Seek individual information (information that helps define a person as an individual) Don"t fall prey to a just world belief (belief that people get what they deserved) Be aware of self-fulfilling prophecies (expectation that makes people act that way, making the prophecy true) Understand that race is a social construction is not natural: tolerance and cultural awareness. Cultural awareness is a key element to increasing multiculturalism. Different cultures have different ways of doing things, and tension can happen by accident.
