Socio imagination: the starting point of sociology, it enables us to grasp the connection between history and biography, the social and the personal. Personal troubles: problems that takes place within an individual, problems that one has control of. Social issues: issues that lay beyond a persons control. Common sense: answers that don"t need to be supported by evidence. Critical thinking: asking any question and being open to the answer that is supported with evidence, to confront biases when they are in the way applying methods of cultural, literary or normative criticism to. Macro-sociology: large scale studies, studies patterns and processes at a whole small scale study, studies how individuals interact with each. The structure of society, where we find ourselves in is going to effect us.
