Truman denied it not wanting to start a war and the press but truman removed him: over the next two years un forces fought to drive the chinese and north. By 1952 un troops had regained control of s>k. In july 1953 the un forces and n. k signed a cease-fire agreement. The border between the two koreas was set near the 38th parallel.
